Crystal Jade Kitchen @ Tampines Mall

Last time I did not have a wonderful experience at the Jurong Point branch.
All i can say is: Blame it on the dish that i choose.
There was a long queue outside Crystal Jade Kitchen at Tampines Mall.
I waited for 20 minutes to get a table for two and we waited for about another 20 minutes for our food to come.
Their business sure is good during a sat evening.
Seems like everywhere i go there is bound to be a long queue...sianz.zz.z.

Both of us are so hungry that we decided to order whatever we like to bring down our hunger
We ordered prawn hor fun, hokkien fried rice, stir fried mushrooms and herbal chicken with dumpling soup.

This is their prawn hor fun, look at the size of their prawn!! HUGEEEE
Actually the hor fun is not salty enough but their prawn is really crunchy....

Next on the line is this stir fried mushrooms, it has 2 different types of mushrooms topped with 'tao pok'.
The sauce is sweet and the 'tao pok' has absorbed both the mushroom juice and the sweet sauce.YummY!!

Here comes the dish of the day!! Herbal chicken soup with dumplings.
The chicken stock is cooked with cabbage and ham.
We finished the whole claypot of soup leaving nothing behind. Not even the cabbage!
As for the dumplings, the skin is thin and they are generous with their fillings.

Our last dish of the day..Suppose to be a main dish yet it arrived last.
This hokkien fried rice looks like mui fan to me.
Its fried rice with a mixture of bits of roast duck, vegetables and chicken.Not nice at all, I didnt even finish it.

Conclusion:
FULL! These dishes are too much for two person.
Initially we ate like hungry wolves but we simply cannot finish everything.
The chicken soup is a must try!! Although i mention it again but it is really nice!
Total cost about 50 plus
