Xiao Xuan Feng @ Tiong Bahru Plaza

This restaurant is located at the left hand side of Tiong Bahru Plaza main entrance.
Xiao Xuan Feng is famous for its la mian and xiao long bao.
All the noddles are prepared after they received the order.
Customers can actually see how the chef make the noddles from the dough.
Quite interesting indeed.

Light bulb in the bird cage..Cool!
Whole place is very traditional China look, even the music they are playing are those chinese oldies.

Look at the tea that they served us..I like their teapot.
You can choose what type of tea you preferred.
I think they got at least four types of tea to choose from but I forgot what are the four they provide.

The chef is now preparing our noodles, before that he was preparing the noddles from a dough.
The picture on the right is Si Chuan sour and hot soup.

Here comes their Xiao Long Bao!!
Look at the juice that leaks out from the Xiao Long Bao. Yummy!
The picture on the right is Shanghai Seafood La Mian.
This is the first time i have seen dried la mian.

Guo Tie..Look at the base is fry till golden brown.
Picture on the right is Shan Dong Dumplings La Mian.
The dumplings are HUGE and the filling is nice, it is a mixture of minced pork and vegetable.
The two picture above is actually one dish.
This is Herbal Chicken Soup with La Mian.
I find that the soup is too salty compared to the Herbal Chicken Soup at Crystal Jade.
Personally I would prefer the Chicken Soup at Crystal Jade.

The price here is reasonable. Can come and try!
Chinese tea for two is $2.00
Shan Dong Dumplings La Mian is $6.50
Herbal Chicken Soup with La Mian is $8.00
Xiao Long Bao is $3.60
Others I cant remember sorry
