Vila'ge Restaurant @ The Heeren

This place was used to be Mache but it change to this Vila'ge not too long ago.
Concept wise, it is exactly the same as Mache.
I am thinking are these two restaurants managed by the same company?
Anyway who cares, first thing that caught my eye is the CUTE cow..
It stands right in front of the entrance greeting everyone with her lovely smile

chio bu cow!!!

Whole place is nicely decorated, it a really nice place to dine in.
Customers will walk around with a food card to buy their food.
All these will then be charged after you finish eating and queue up to pay at the exit counter.

The drinks are placed nicely on top of the barrel, I simply love the way they present their drinks.

Longest queue must be this rosti stall.
It is pan- fry potato with toppings like sausage, salmon and many others.

Not a fan of salad and what's more, its so expensive.
Salad for $8.80..I will never try it

Stall selling waffles...

Fruit stall selling all sort of juices smoothies and fresh fruits

They even have fondue! The fondue for two is less than $20 quite reasonable price.

Dessert time..Look at all the different cakes they have.

I went on a friday evening, whole restaurant was so packed and you can see people everywhere queuing up for food.

This is the smoked salmon rosti and the soup above is crab meat soup..
Taste like our oriental shark fin soup..Yummy!
Potato ROSTI with smoked salmon cost me $12.80 and this soup is $6.50.

This is their pork & garlic sausage..
Taste like normal sausage to me but the meat sauce is good..
The one on the right is grilled squid. Grilled squid is very tender but its not warm enough.
Sausage is $6.80 and the grilled squid is $8.20.

Look at the queue..This is their paying counter!
We even need to queue up to pay for our food.
Imagine how good their business is.

We saw one of their promotion poster at the paying counter.
I got a 15% discount for our dinner and it sums up to $40.10 for two person.
Nice place for dinner, I would recommend those who have not tried Vila'ge or mache before to try it..
