Geylang Dim Sum

This is the first time i am visiting this place, it is recommended by a friend of mine.
We were here hunting for good food in Geylang Area and she says this is a must try if you visit Geylang.
I had enough of frog leg porridge, beef hor fun and you tiao with soya bean milk.
Having dim sum in Geylang will be interesting.
I dont know how to read the name of their shop so i just take a photo so that you all will know.

A very traditional shop indeed...They are selling pastries outside the shop.

If you cant find the shop, its just opposite this God of Fortune Temple.

Look at the containers they used to serve the drinks..Unique right

Quite expensive for their drinks... $2 each!!! This is Chrysanthemum tea and they also serve herbal tea and soft drinks.

This is their mushroom zhu chang fen, the texture is not as smooth as old airport road but the sauce is nice!
One of the must try when you visit here!

This is their prawn dumplings, it is below normal standard.
The prawn fillings are not fresh and is not crunchy at all. I think you can skip this dish.

This is their fried fish fillet, my friend recommend this the moment we sat down.
Its nice!! Mainly because it is served hot and with the Mayonnaise.
This dish is heavenly...
The fish fillet is very crispy and the fish is very fresh. Another must try!

Their guo tie...Very lousy!! Even the appearance is nowhere near those normal guo tie we eat.
This dish taste more like fried wan tan. DUN EVER ORDER THIS!

Mushrooms dumplings, look at how big the mushrooms are.
Wa..the mushroom is placed on top of the meat dumplings, it is so big that i cant swallow it at one go.

Chicken feet with chili!! One of our favorite dish there.
The chicken feet has absorbed all the sauce and has been stewed till soft and juicy.

Conclusion:
Overall, They served nice dim sum although I am quite disappointed with some their dishes.
Dim sum here are sold at the range from $2 to $5.
Some dishes are quite expensive.
Total cost for this dinner cost $58.40 and is shared among 6 person, quite reasonable i think.
